SERVES 3
HOT CHOCOLATE INGREDIENTS*
- 3 cups whole milk
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS (PER MUG)
- 1 oz Belfour Rye Whiskey
- 2 oz RumChata® Peppermint Bark
(or your choice of peppermint bark cream liqueur) - TOPPINGS: marshmallows and crushed candy canes
DIRECTIONS
- Combine hot chocolate ingredients into a medium sauce pan.
- Heat on medium-low heat until the chocolate melts completely. Whisk frequently to a low simmer.
(Do NOT let boil to avoid burning) - Remove from heat.
- Add cocktail ingredients to 3 mugs.
- Pour hot chocolate into each mug.
- Top with marshmallows and crushed candy canes.
*For faster prep time use instant hot chocolate mix.
