SERVES 3

HOT CHOCOLATE INGREDIENTS*

  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt

COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS (PER MUG)

  • 1 oz Belfour Rye Whiskey
  • 2 oz RumChata® Peppermint Bark
    (or your choice of peppermint bark cream liqueur)
  • TOPPINGS: marshmallows and crushed candy canes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine hot chocolate ingredients into a medium sauce pan.
  2. Heat on medium-low heat until the chocolate melts completely. Whisk frequently to a low simmer.
    (Do NOT let boil to avoid burning)
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add cocktail ingredients to 3 mugs.
  5. Pour hot chocolate into each mug.
  6. Top with marshmallows and crushed candy canes.

*For faster prep time use instant hot chocolate mix.
