Ed & Dayn Belfour attend schools in Kentucky and Canada, exploring the finest ingredients and equipment and talking with industry veterans and rookies alike.
CREATION
2017
During an internship at Woody Creek Distillery in Basalt, CO, Dayn Belfour makes Belfour Spirits’ first 12 barrels, resulting in our Limited Edition Straight Rye Whiskey.
LAUNCH

Since its launch, Belfour Spirits has been expanding into new markets and earning top awards for packaging and flavor, including Double Gold for its 106-proof Special Edition Straight Rye Whiskey in the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

CONTINUED GROWTH
In our first 12 months, we launched the brand in 5 states. This year, we’ve introduced the brand to 8 more states. We have commitments to add 8 more states in 2021, bringing our expected year-end total distribution to 21.
PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE
The Belfours have more than 2,000 barrels of whiskey aging, and more are slated for production in 2022 and beyond. The company is well-positioned to meet future demand.
