Ingredients

CRUST

1 2/3 cup Flour
-
1 tablespoon powdered sugar

3/4 teaspoon salt
-
5 tablespoons shortening
-
4 tablespoons butter
-
1/4 cup ice cold water
-
1 egg white, lightly beaten
-
FILLING
-
6 tablespoons softened butter
-
1 cup Dark Brown Sugar, packed
-
3 eggs
-
1 teaspoon vanilla
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
3/4 cup Dark Corn Syrup
-
1 1/2 tablespoon Belfour Texas Pecan Bourbon

2 cups Pecan Halves
Directions

CRUST
-
Preheat oven to 350F.

Combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt in a food processor. Pulse to combine. Add cut pieces of butter and pulse 5-6 times. Sprinkle with half of the ice cold water. Pulse 5-6 times. Add remaining ice water and pulse 5-6 more times.

Knead dough 2-3 times.

Wrap the dough in plastic and let rest in the fridge for 1 hour.

Roll dough in to 12 inch circle and place in pie pan. Refrigerate until ready to fill.

FILLING

Beat butter and brown sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla, corn syrup, salt, and Belfour Texas Pecan Bourbon.

Spread 1 cup of pecans in the bottom of the pie crust.

Pour filling into pie crust. Add remaining pecans.

Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour on baking sheet.
